3 Things to Keep in Mind During Our Loan Process

Written by Andy Nguyen and Dheeraj Nadella | Dec 5, 2018 3:00:00 PM

Senior Loan Processor Victoria Browne has been with Visio for over five years, and with all her experience has developed an efficient and organized process to allow her to manage up to 90 property applications at once. Here are Victoria's three key pieces of advice to borrowers:

Trust Your Loan Processor

When your processor asks for certain documentation, trust they are asking for it because it is essential to closing your loan. At Visio Lending, we are here to assist you every step of the way to make the loan process as painless and fast as possible. Every item we require is utilized responsibly to move your application to the next step.

Prepare to Provide all Necessary Documentation

Although Visio requires less documentation than traditional lenders (no tax returns or income verification, for instance), one of the biggest misconceptions is that we require little to no documentation for the application. We also are often perceived as a hard money lender; it's simply not true. The quicker you have the documentation we ask of you ready to go, the smoother and faster your loan will close.

Remove the Investment Property Address from Key Documents

Many times borrowers used to live at a property they are now using as a rental. If that address is still on their driver's license or other essential documents, it will cause delays and most likely extend your processing time.
