Here are three tried-and-true, creative methods:
Real Estate Investor Associations (REIA's)REIA's are a fantastic opportunity for networking, making it easy to meet real estate investors and the people they work with regularly (think property managers, lenders, etc.). Bonus, REIAs are very educational and offer ample industry insights. To find a local REIA, visit the National Real Estate Investors Association or MeetUp.com.
Real Estate EventsThere are tons of annual industry events that are great for meeting investors. Here are a handful to check out:
- Pitbull Conference: A two-day event for real estate professionals focusing on a wide range of topics pertaining to real estate based private money financing.
- Single Family Rental Summit: This subject brings together top subject matter experts and skilled single-family rental practitioners.
- Five Star Conference and Expo: Expect exhilarating keynotes, educational academic labs, and of course, endless networking with investors.
Property AuctionsProperty auctions are another good avenue to meet investors. To find one in your area, here’s a few places to look:
