Account Executive - Loan Originator

Role Description:

 

This role is for a Loan Originator working in a call center focused on outbound calls and inbound leads to originate loans. The ideal candidate will have the ability to build strong relationships, identify investor’s strategies, and advise them about how our loan products can help them achieve their financial goals. Compensation to be expected: base + commissions. OTE first year = $80K, top performers can earn over $200K.

Loan Processor

Position Responsibilities:

• Process applications from time of receipt of application to submission of the loan package to underwriting

• Work with, coordinate with Loan Originators

• Gather, organize and track loan documentation

• Work with applicants, underwriters, appraisers and others to complete processing

• Resolve customer service issues

• Verify purchase contract documentation and resolve routine issues including vesting issues and other document discrepancies

Minimum Qualifications:

• 1 year of Processing or industry related experience

• Proficient use of Microsoft Office Suite

• Tactfulness and proven ability to handle sensitive and confidential situations

• High energy, self-motivated and service-oriented attitude

• Strong interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills

• Strong organizational skills, attention to detail and problem-solving skills

• Ability to handle extensive pipeline and ability to meet deadlines in a fast paced environment

Operations Specialist

Position Responsibilities:

  • Orders all appropriate documents including pay history, title work, appraisal, payoffs, and other required documents
  • Maintain database of hard-copy forms and procedures for different brokerages
  • Move proper loan information into the Calyx Point system for processing
  • Monitor appraisal reporting and update SalesForce with all necessary information
  • Follow up on all outstanding Appraisal and Title orders
  • Schedule loan closings
  • Send out appraisal invoices to the borrowers
  • Create weekly reporting
  • Update the VFS Funded tracker board weekly
  • Perform initial quality control on new files in processing
  • Perform post-closing “Servicing” quality control
  • Maintain current knowledge of all company loan programs and their requirements
  • Adheres to all company policies, procedures and business ethics codes
  • Other projects and duties as assigned

Salesforce Developer

Position Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop and deploy complex Salesforce Features.
  • Build new solutions and refactor existing solutions for scale and integration capability.
  • Build and maintain reports, dashboards, user permissions.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Accredited bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Computer Information Systems.
  • Excellent OO design, data structure knowledge, and design pattern knowledge.
  • Superior Salesforce development skills, including Apex, Visualforce, SOQL.
  • Demonstrable knowledge of JavaScript, HTML5/XHTML, CSS3.
  • Extensive experience consuming and implementing RESTful API’s utilizing XML, SOAP, JSON, etc.
  • Ability to design, debug, test, and produce quality, scalable and well documented solutions on the Salesforce platform using Apex, Visual Force, custom field / objects, complex workflows, triggers, and data validation.
  • Understanding of all aspects of Salesforce, particularly Communities.
  • Experience integrating Salesforce with other applications via realtime, batch, sync / async.
  • Professional experience in test driven and formal QA development environment, including development/staging/production (or similar) development cycles.
  • Perform basic review of code to ensure long term viability, integrity, and make recommendations for enhancements and modifications to improve system performance, efficiency, and reporting.
  • Basic usage of Git and GitHub.
  • Document potential new solutions or enhancements to existing solutions, as well as document business processes, and functional requirements.

Desired Qualifications:

  • Additional OO, and/or functional languages, especially OO PHP (Laravel 5.x) and Python.
  • Experience in front- and back-end security, encryption and data-protection APIs
  • Working knowledge of Amazon Web Services suite of products (EC2, S3, SES, RDS)

Junior Account Executive

Position Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for providing assistance and support in marketing and administrative duties
  • Responsible for running credit reports, inputting loan applications, collecting loan information
  • Follow up calls to brokers, customers, potential new customers
  • Facilitate loan processing procedure, gather required documentation, open files, order appraisals
  • Plan and schedule meetings, calls and appointments
  • Manage and respond appropriately to all correspondence
  • Performs data entry into spreadsheets and/or loan database

Sr Customer Service Manager

Position Responsibilities:

Lead the Servicing Department (performing loans):

  • Manage department’s personnel including training, hiring, coaching, mentoring, and setting operational and service goals
  • Prepare and present weekly and monthly reports showing loan performance, borrower issues, and other important metrics
  • Work cross-functionally to continually improve the Borrower experience and company communication to the Borrower.
  • Drive the daily operations of the department, ensuring compliance with departmental policies and procedures and all applicable government, investor and client regulations
  • Meet quality assurance requirements and other key performance metrics

Customer Service Focus:

  • Focus on the Borrower’s experience as it relates to the servicing of their loan.
  • Establish processes and metrics to effectively monitor the Borrower’s experience and implement improvements as necessary.
  • Be the voice of the Borrower, promote the Borrower internally, and resolve escalated Borrower complaints

Manage Third Party Servicers:

  • Work with third party servicers to ensure timely payment performance from our Borrowers.
  • Work with internal teams to ensure timely payment performance.
  • Recommend improvements to the loan servicing process and to increase efficiency and effectiveness with ongoing review and updates to processes and procedures as necessary
  • Review billing from third party servicers for accuracy and compliance with the Servicing Agreement
  • Evaluate periodically the performance of third party servicers

Ensure high quality performance:

  • Confirm boarding of new loans onto third party servicing platforms
  • Manage, review, and implement new loan and loan program set-up/ first payment processes and procedures
  • Manage loan servicing transactions for approval or denial to ensure consistency, accuracy, and quality
  • Review and authorize payoff statements, repayment plans, loan extensions, and discharge documents
  • Review and monitor low-balance loans and short-maturity loans
  • Manage and track delinquent loans, and lead rehabilitation and mitigation efforts
  • Ensure trustee bankruptcy payments are received and applied correctly
  • Ensure accurate and timely processing and reporting of escrow funds, hazard insurance and property taxes
  • Other projects and duties as assigned

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 5+ years of relevant experience in one or more of the following areas: Loan Servicing, Mortgage Lending or Mortgage Banking
  • Minimum of 3+ years of supervisory/managerial experience in related field with demonstrated ability to lead others effectively
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Finance, or a related field
  • Thorough understanding of loan servicing requirements, guidelines, procedures, reporting, etc.
  • Integrity and trustworthiness
  • Excellent verbal, written and presentation skills
  • Ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously, managing time and resources to ensure work is completed efficiently to and within established timeframes
