Operations Specialist

Position Responsibilities:

  • Orders all appropriate documents including pay history, title work, appraisal, payoffs, and other required documents
  • Maintain database of hard-copy forms and procedures for different brokerages
  • Move proper loan information into the Calyx Point system for processing
  • Monitor appraisal reporting and update SalesForce with all necessary information
  • Follow up on all outstanding Appraisal and Title orders
  • Schedule loan closings
  • Send out appraisal invoices to the borrowers
  • Create weekly reporting
  • Update the VFS Funded tracker board weekly
  • Perform initial quality control on new files in processing
  • Perform post-closing “Servicing” quality control
  • Maintain current knowledge of all company loan programs and their requirements
  • Adheres to all company policies, procedures and business ethics codes
  • Other projects and duties as assigned

Minimum Qualifications:

  • 1-3 years of Administrative experience

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Real Estate knowledge
  • High School Diploma or GED

Account Executive - Loan Originator

Role Description:


This role is for a Loan Originator working in a call center focused on outbound calls and inbound leads to originate loans. The ideal candidate will have the ability to build strong relationships, identify investor’s strategies, and advise them about how our loan products can help them achieve their financial goals. Compensation to be expected: base + commissions. OTE first year = $80K, top performers can earn over $200K.

Loan Processor

Position Responsibilities:

• Process applications from time of receipt of application to submission of the loan package to underwriting

• Work with, coordinate with Loan Originators

• Gather, organize and track loan documentation

• Work with applicants, underwriters, appraisers and others to complete processing

• Resolve customer service issues

• Verify purchase contract documentation and resolve routine issues including vesting issues and other document discrepancies

Minimum Qualifications:

• 1 year of Processing or industry related experience

• Proficient use of Microsoft Office Suite

• Tactfulness and proven ability to handle sensitive and confidential situations

• High energy, self-motivated and service-oriented attitude

• Strong interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills

• Strong organizational skills, attention to detail and problem-solving skills

• Ability to handle extensive pipeline and ability to meet deadlines in a fast paced environment

• Demonstrate sensitivity and tact in handling highly confidential information.

Property Tax Specialist

Position Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for internal monthly and quarterly state & local property tax status reports
  • Review foreclosure sales report and update to ensure accurate state & local property tax status
  • Perform research on tax and foreclosure matters, such as analyzing tax certifications, tax sales, and tax foreclosures, etc.
  • Communicate via phone with applicable state & local property tax jurisdictions when necessary
  • Manage, respond to and resolve state & local property tax status questions
  • Review third party servicers’ default, tax and suspense reports
  • Review and identify tax issues in Title Reports
  • Coordinate with third party servicers to ensure accurate tax status of properties
  • Orders BPOs for potential takeback properties
  • Order, facilitate and track occupancy checks, cash for keys and lock outs
  • Assists with facilities related projects
  • Update and Maintain Asset Inventory
  • Track properties converted to REO for foreclosure sale deeds and evictions, if needed.
  • Manages assessment vendors and ensures accurate invoicing
  • Maintain SLAs for the department
  • Write and send notices, correspondence and updates to clients and third party servicer
  • Identify issues in foreclosure process related to state & local property tax status and expedite resolution
  • Exhibit strong initiative and attention to detail and possess the ability to handle multiple tasks effectively
  • Update internal systems as needed
  • Other projects and duties as assigned

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Associates Degree in Business, Accounting, Finance or Legal studies
  • 3-4 years of Mortgage Banking or Mortgage Default Servicing experience
  • Knowledge and understanding of the foreclosure process
  • Ability to prioritize and manage numerous responsibilities concurrently
  • Must be technically competent, assertive, and results-oriented

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in a related field
  • Working legal knowledge of foreclosure and real estate transactions
  • Paralegal background
  • Preferred experience with LPS
