Redfin Survey Shows Shift in Buyer Behavior

A recent survey by Redfin found that 17% of U.S. buyers made an offer on a home without the help of a real estate agent. This exceeds previous reports that 12% of buyers did not use an agent in 2014.

Additionally it was found that one in five buyers made an offer on a home sight unseen.

Of those who made an offer without visiting the property, certain demographics came into play, with 30 percent of those choosing to forego an agent being classified as millennials.
